Legal Disclaimer LEGAL-VERIFY
The architectural perimeter of the platform — what DiligencePilot is, and what it explicitly is not.
Effective date: 2026 · Version 1.0 (template)
This page is a first-pass institutional template and must be reviewed and finalised by qualified legal counsel for the jurisdictions in which DiligencePilot operates (including but not limited to GDPR / EEA, UK GDPR and any applicable national consumer-protection, data-protection and e-commerce regimes). Sections marked LEGAL-VERIFY require explicit confirmation before publication.
1. Scope of the Platform
DiligencePilot is a decision intelligence architecture. It structures the evaluation of opportunities, projects, campaigns and companies through governance-locked workflows, evidence segmentation, context/profile logic and committee-ready outputs. The role of the platform is decision support.
2. What DiligencePilot Does Not Do
- Not legal advice
- Not investment advice
- Not statutory audit
- Not a binding regulatory opinion
- Not tax, credit underwriting or insurance underwriting
- Does not conduct personal-data research
- Does not produce a binding investment decision
- Provides decision support to the committee only
3. The Binding Decision Rests with the Committee
The platform produces a committee-grade decision support package. The final investment, M&A, IPO-readiness or analogous decision rests at all times with the authorised committee, board or decision-making body. Outputs of the platform should be read as inputs to that decision — not as the decision itself.
4. No Guarantees on Outcomes
The platform does not guarantee any specific investment, commercial, regulatory or operational outcome. Markets, regulations, counterparties and operational conditions evolve; past performance and historical signal patterns are not predictive of future results.
5. External Verification — Best Efforts
The external verification layer relies on publicly available information at the time of the evaluation. The platform applies confidence-tier discipline to source quality but cannot warrant the completeness, accuracy or current validity of external public sources.
6. Architecture Disclosures
Public disclosures about the platform's architecture (workflows, governance extensions, criteria library, scoring blocks, decision label families) describe the structural design. Full workflow texts, the complete governance-extension contents, the full 1,000-criterion list and internal calibration matrices are intentionally not disclosed. This withholding is an integral part of the platform's discipline.
7. Forward-Looking Statements
The Website includes forward-looking statements regarding the productisation vision and partnership models. These are statements of intent, not commitments, and may evolve.
8. Sector-Specific Notes LEGAL-VERIFY
For regulated activities such as equity crowdfunding, capital markets, fund management or M&A advisory, additional jurisdiction-specific regulatory frameworks apply. The platform's outputs are decision-support inputs that supplement — and do not substitute for — compliance with such frameworks.
