Cookie Policy LEGAL-VERIFY
What cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
Effective date: 2026 · Version 1.0 (template)
This page is a first-pass institutional template and must be reviewed and finalised by qualified legal counsel for the jurisdictions in which DiligencePilot operates (including but not limited to GDPR / EEA, UK GDPR and any applicable national consumer-protection, data-protection and e-commerce regimes). Sections marked LEGAL-VERIFY require explicit confirmation before publication.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, improve user experience and provide information to site operators.
2. Our Cookie Approach
This website uses only strictly necessary cookies by default. Any optional cookies (analytics, performance measurement) are activated only after explicit consent through the cookie banner displayed on first visit.
3. Cookie Categories
3.1 Strictly necessary LEGAL-VERIFY
- dp_cookie_consent_v1 — stores your consent decision so that the banner is not shown on every visit. Local storage, retained 12 months.
- Session cookies set by the hosting infrastructure for site security and load balancing.
3.2 Analytics — optional
If an analytics tool is enabled, it will only fire after you have consented through the cookie banner. The list of any analytics processors, the data they collect and their retention periods will be confirmed at publication. LEGAL-VERIFY
3.3 Marketing
This website does not place advertising or remarketing cookies and does not share visitor data with advertising networks.
4. Managing Your Preferences
You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clearing the dp_cookie_consent_v1 value from your browser's local storage. This will trigger the cookie banner to reappear on your next visit, allowing you to make a fresh choice.
You can also disable cookies entirely through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect site functionality.
5. Third-Party Embeds
The institutional intake page (/apply/) may embed a third-party form provider (Tally). Once enabled, the Tally embed will load Tally's own scripts and may set its own cookies, governed by Tally's privacy policy. LEGAL-VERIFY
6. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified by an updated effective date at the top of this page.
